Shiva Zahed Gallery, a contemporary art gallery located in Beyoğlu, Istanbul, is dedicated to exploring the narratives of Iranian contemporary art within a global perspective. Established in the winter of 2026 by Shiva Zahed, the gallery emerged from her background in medicine, extensive art collecting, and subsequent work in fashion and visual culture in Tehran and Paris. Her diverse background and residence in Istanbul for the past two years imbue the gallery with a distinctive perspective, applying the diagnostic precision of her medical training to the intricate curation of contemporary aesthetics. By positioning Iranian contemporary voices at the core of Istanbul’s historic art district, the gallery serves as a pivotal platform for fostering cross-border dialogue. Its primary objective is to establish sustained visibility for artists beyond geographical boundaries.
