Shiva Zahed Gallery, a newly opened gallery in Istanbul focusing on Iranian contemporary art, presents its second exhibition, Against Transparency. Through Ahmad Rafi’s paintings, the exhibition explores the possibilities of opacity against today’s obsession with visibility and transparency. We met with the exhibition’s curator, Shiva Zahed, and the artist Ahmad Rafi.
